After a decontamination clean, how do we know the area is once again safe for use or re-entry?

The first indicator to any decontamination clean is the presentation of the room/area in question. Decontamination cannot be possible without the entire area of your primary concern being cleaned from top to bottom. If the area smells of pleasant, disinfectant type odours, this is usually an indicator that this area has been thoroughly cleaned.
ATP Meters and Swabs can be used to test an area once it has been decontaminated- by undertaking such a test, it will expose the level of cleanliness/sterility in that area-on that surface.
