What is ATP Testing?
The ATP test is a process of rapidly measuring actively growing microorganisms through detection of adenosine triphosphate, or ATP.
Clearly, sanitisation is fundamental and completely integral when dealing with food safety. In food processing settings for example, undesirable microscopic substances and microbes can and do adversely affect the taste, appearance and most importantly the safety of food designed for human or animal consumption. In other settings such as healthcare, microbes present in patient settings such as wards or operating theatres can easily spread and facilitate infection.
