What to do in a plumbing emergency

The first thing to consider is safety. Water leaking or flooding in a building is a serious risk. Shut off the water supply using the stop cock. In residential properties this is generally located under the kitchen or bathroom sink. If you can’t find it, call your local water company for assistance.

Shut off the electricity if it is safe to do so. Water and electricity don’t mix. If you can’t make the area or the building safe, get people out of the building.

If you don’t have a contract with us or anyone else to carry out property maintenance then we are happy to be able to help you on an as needed basis. If you have an urgent repair need such as a water leak, electrical or gas fault then we will get someone to you straight away.
