Construction Waste Collection, Removal and Disposal Services
Construction is a messy business. The old saying goes that you need to “crack an egg to make an omelette”. Builders are generally very considerate and careful when they carry out construction work nowadays, however you need to be certain that building or construction waste is dealt with ethically and safely.
If the builder or construction company offers to remove the waste themselves as part of the construction project, please make certain that the waste is going to be dealt with ethically and responsibly. The construction waste emanating from your property is your responsibility and may well need a waste transfer note to ensure that your responsibilities are passed on properly. Sadly, some builders are less than ethical and we’ve all heard of cases where construction waste has been fly-tipped with disastrous environmental as well as legal consequences.

Transfer of Waste
When we pick up your construction waste, you are transferring the responsibility for that waste to us. The process of transferring waste necessitates the use of waste transfer notes. A waste transfer note (WTN) is a document that records and details the transfer of waste from one person to another. You must ensure every load of waste you receive or pass to others is covered by a WTN.
As Licenced waste carriers, we have a responsibility to make certain that we act appropriately and don’t, for example, unethically dump your waste somewhere that it should be placed. There are a multitude of unlicenced and unethical businesses out there that will happily get rid of your waste and fly-tip it. If that happens, it’s your responsibility so please make sure that waste is transferred legally and responsibly.
National Building Waste Collection and Disposal
We operate across the whole of the UK mainland from Edinburgh in Scotland through Banbury in the Midlands all the way through to Portsmouth on the South Coast. Wherever you are, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to help or advise you.
