Fire Restoration (Residential site)

We were asked to help restore a property for a client following a significant house fire. In the initial stage, this necessitated carrying out a structural survey to fully understand the extent of any damage to the fabric of the building (if any).

It became apparent that the damage was largely superficial and we were able to provide multiple services for the client, enabling them to keep the work with one service provider, saving them considerable time and effort. Communication channels were also easier for the client as we managed the whole job, undertaking the cleaning as well as the subsequent restoration of the kitchen.

We used methods such as steam cleaning, pressure washing, air scrubbing or cleaning, thermal odour removal and many other methods to thoroughly decontaminate the property. We removed damaged fixtures and fittings that were safely disposed of if they were irreparable. Finally, we re-decorated and made good the kitchen, resolving what had been a difficult and stressful initial event for the client. It really does give us satisfaction to see people happy at the end of a job well done.
